Volunteer OpportunitiesMDA Summer Camp - Minnesota /Dakotas - Volunteer information
Want to learn how to work with children with neuromuscular disease and gain invaluable skills like: problem solving, collaboration, people management and persuasion?
MDA Minnesota/ Dakotas holds TWO WEEKS of MDA Summer Camp where you can gain those skills and so much more. As a volunteer you'll be paired with a child with neuromuscular disease, you'll be there to help them with their daily tasks but your also there to help them have fun. New volunteers can volunteer for one week, but you can also volunteer to help with other tasks while we prep for the 2020 camp season if you're interested. We do office in the metro so it could be very convenient if you're from that area.
MDA Summer Camp is located in Maple Lake, Minnesota at True Friends – Camp Courage. This is a totally accessible camp, meaning everyone can do everything! From ziplining to gathering around the campfire.
If you're interested, please contact us as soon as possible because the deadlines for camp volunteer applications approach fast. The Deadline is April 26th 2020. Once you email me, I can send you the links to sign up for camp or answer any questions you might have!
