The Minnesota HOSA organization has the goal to help all students that have goals in being a Health Professional. All of our events and activities are 100% Healthcare from the knowledge, skills and leadership parts of becoming that highly qualified health professional. Anywhere from a written knowledge test, First Aid skills, writing to drawing, communicating to action, MN HOSA wants to help you become confident and successful as you enter your next step on becoming a healthcare professional. One of the events is our Mid Winter Events Day where students get to "Try out" events and receive positive and helpful advice as they continue to prepare for the State Leadership Conference in April. The judges are our Industry Board and Partners that are qualified to give that advice in areas that they are familiar with.
The 2016 Mid Winter Events Days were January 5th at Century College in White Bear Lake with over 400 students attending and on January 8th at Rochester Community College who hosted over 50 students from the Southeast MN area. The Third day will be February 5th at Lake Superior College in Duluth for the HOSA members from the Northeast MN area. If you are interested in finding out more about HOSA and these opportunities for your students contact MN HOSA. We will help you understand the value that comes from being a part of this 100% Health care Career and Technical Student Organization!
