All a part of a successful 2014 MN HOSA Fall Conference. A Great Kick Off of the HOSA year with approximately 400 HOSA members and guests networking, learning and having fun. Sessions included Community (and Global) Service Projects, Fundraising Ideas, College Educational Programs in Prosthetics and Orthotics, Laboratory Science, Casting, Mental Health, Dental Careers, and Criminal Psychology, Crisis Intervention,Human Trafficking and Self Defense. With over 25 exhibitors, HOSA Students had a glimpse at College and Educational opportunities, Military / Medics, and Careers in Health Care. The conference started with planned tours for over 300 students at Gillette's Children's Hospital, Regions Hospital, Northwestern Health Science University, and United Hospital and ended with the installation of the 2014-2015 MN HOSA State Officers: President- Lucas John (Lakeville South HS), Vice President Cassy Stierns (St. Francis HS), Historian- Rachel Kainz (Northeast Metro 916), Secretary- Amy Bowman (Duluth Area HS), South Region Vice President- Sam Anderson (Northeast Metro 916), North Region Vice President- Tracy Onchwari (Duluth Area HS), Central Region Vice President- Paige Dahlberg- (Andover HS),Medical Reserve Corps Representative- Shelby Ruotsalainen (Duluth Area HS), President - Elect- Stephanie Hamlin (Kasson- Mantorville HS). We welcome our new team and look forward to a successful year.
