MN HOSA is the FIRST State Medical Reserve Corps Unit

After going through the timely process to make it official, MN HOSA was accepted as a Medical Reserve Corps Unit in December. It is to be considered the first “State” Unit. We will be working with the Department of Health- Emergency Preparedness and other MRC units throughout the state to train and teach others to become prepared for devastating as well as everyday emergencies that can happen to anyone. We have already identified a student /advisor committee but are willing to add HOSA chapters as they become ready. This is a get accomplishment for MN HOSA and we are very proud of it.

JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes : Feb 25, 2012

REGISTER Now for the 2012 Walk to Cure Diabetes and “Make Every Step Count”! Last year we raised an amazing $1,965,000 http://www2.jdrf.org/site
HELP find better treatments and a cure for type 1 diabetes. This year our goal is to raise $2.2 million and with your support, we know we will reach this! So, please join us again for a day of entertainment, activities, food, special attractions, and plenty of fun!

There are many ways you can participate:
- Join a team. If your team captain has set up your team, you can search for your team and join in the fun.
- Start last year’s team. You can now recreate last year’s team.
- Start your own team. You’ll automatically be assigned as the Team Captain.
- No team? No problem! Register to walk as an individual.
- Can’t make it to the walk this year? Register as a virtual walker!
So, don’t delay a minute longer – register now. We look forward to seeing you on Walk day.

Registration Fees for the Mid Winter Event Days: $20.00/participant- Registration open December 2nd – Registrations Due by December 20th, 2011 No refunds will be paid. Substitutions by advisors are allowable until the Mid Winter official registration closes at 12:00 AM on Monday, December 21st, 2011.
