4th Annual MN HOSA MRC Camp

With the assistance of true leaders of Disaster Response, MN HOSA MRC held it's 4th annual MRC Camp at Camp Ripley in Little Falls, MN December 1-3. Over 80 participants took part in the three day learning skills, knowledge and response in the case of an emergency or disaster in homes, schools, communities and state. Those attending departed with certificates that will move with them as they pursue their career goals and leadership positions.

It isn't done by one, but rather many giving a holistic approach to a number of topics from CPR & First Aid, Emergency Sheltering and kits, careers to epidemic to pandemic threats as in Zika. Thanks to the Department of Health- Emergency Response, American Red Cross, CDC, Homeland Security, Army National Guard and OEC (Occupations in Emergency Careers) Instructors- all ending with a drill and Barrack clean up.
