2015 Washington Leadership Academy


Four HOSA members and Advisor took the opportunity to attend the 9th annual Washington Leadership Academy in Washington DC September 19th -22nd. The 4 day event included the opportuntiy to work with over 175 HOSA members from across the United States and Puerto Rico and Hawaii. With a full agenda of speakers,leadership training and activities, tours of our Country's history, laying the wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and a trip  to the Capitol to meet with our Senators and Representatives leaving the message of HOSA and our work to fill the future with Health Professionals. This HOSA Activity included MN State Officers Stephanie Hamlin and Rachel Kainz, Local Officer Christy Schultz and Advisor Mr.Jeff Kujath from Kasson- Mantorville. All participants are well on their way to a promising and successful year along with successful networking, fun and new friends. Looking forward to the 2016 WLA next September!
